Q: Can I bring my pet to the show?

A: Please do NOT bring your own pets to the show. There will be many pets and wildlife to see and touch, so we ask that you leave your own pets at home. We must look out for the health and welfare of your pets and the ones that will be at the show. We appreciate your cooperation.

Q: How much is admission?

A: Admission is $5/adults. $3/children under 12. No tickets are available for sale prior to show day. Tickets go on sale at 11:45am day of show at the main entrance (upper and lower levels of the convention center). Show is located on the lower level Exhibit Hall.

Q: Is there a fee for parking?

A: No! Parking is FREE in the main front lot or the parking garage. Entrances are both in the main front level and lower bottom level (where the show takes places)

Q: Can I bring strollers or wheelchairs?

A: Yes, the Convention Center is equipped to handle all modes of transportation. There are steps, escalators and elevators from the first level to the lower level (where the show takes place)

Q: Is food available for sale?

A: Yes, the Convention Center opens a cantina featuring an array of lunch and snack type items for sale, as well as beverages. Kid friendly menu items also available.

Q: Will there be animals there for adoption?

A: Yes! Over a dozen rescues are present with some of the many pets they have available for adoption. You may meet a future member of the family at the show (as many have in past years). Most rescues will follow up with potential adopters after the show to ensure a smooth and stress-free transition for the pet and new owners.

Q: Can I have my picture taken with the pets?

A: There are countless photo opportunities for photos with pets. In addition, to our amazing guest stars, plus the many breeds with the Altoona Kennel Association and the rescue groups.
